INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

We are growing and need a Logistics Specialist with international import and export experience to join our team.

What you will do:

• Initiate new bookings with both agent and customer
• Submit ISF-s to brokerage 24-48 hours prior to departure
• File AMS for select shipments 24-48 hours prior to departure
• Track and trace all shipments from origin to destination
• Research and coordinate with third party dispatchers, and foreign agents to ensure international shipments have the required clearances and documentation needed for successful and timely transport and delivery.
• Research, calculate and prepare customer quotes that offer cost effective solutions to customers.
• Analyze and negotiate freight rates with carriers
• Prepare customer billing
• Provide superior customer service to ensure development of professional relationships with customers, third party vendors, and foreign agents
• Assist customers with freight control, PODs, tracking and validation of billing charges
• Create and accurately maintain customer and vendor accounts
• Analyze logistical challenges and suggest possible solutions for future implementation
• Some travel required

• Custom Clearances and Logistics Coordination
• Knowledge of routing through all major trade lanes via all modes of transportation
• Experience with NVOCC and ITAT
• Experience with TSA regulations
• Preferred training in AES, EAR regulations, and Dangerous Goods.
